Esther Thompson

Esther leads the network development and Quality Standards at One Small Thing. She is a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist and learning and development specialist.

Esther started her career working with people leaving prison, before moving into youth work, volunteer recruitment and training. She was Head of Training at London Youth, the membership organisation for youth clubs throughout London, running youth work qualifications and leadership development.

Most recently, Esther was Head of Learning and Events at the Association of Charitable Foundations, developing networks and learning opportunities for trusts and foundations, working in London and across Europe.
